New Life Furniture collects gently used household furniture and delivers the items directly to families in need, many of whom were homeless in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. The families we serve often move into their housing with only the items they were able to carry during their difficult period.                                                              Recent Note from one of our 'clients': "I've always been an independent person and accepting help is really something new to me.  I always thought that when someone gave you something they wanted something in return.  Since I have been sick and have depended on others for help, I am very grateful that there are people out there like you. It (the furniture) makes me feel better about myself.  It's now more of a home and it makes me more comfortable.  Better look out life!"  -Donald* *Donald (name changed) was a formerly homeless individual who became ill and found life changing help from the angels at the Center for Respite Care in Cincinnati.           "If you could only sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to the people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person."  -Fred Rogers From January 1 to September 5, 2008 New Life Furniture has delivered over 642 furniture items to 66 families in need.  117 Furniture pickups from donors have been completed. In 2007 (Jan. - Dec.) New Life Furniture completed 85 deliveries of 685 furniture items  to families in need.
